Lord, we pray for the newest member of the PEI legislature who represents the constituents of Georgetown–Pownal. We pray that he will lean on others for support and for direction, and that they are willing to help him in ways that will allow him to be a strong member of the team. May he serve in the best conceivable way in his recent appointment to Education and Economic Growth, as well as Health and Social Development. May he seek Your divine power above all others in his day-to-day work at the legislature. We pray all this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Born and raised in Alberry Plains, Brendan Curran was elected to represent the residents of District 2, Georgetown-Pownal, in a by-election on December 8, 2025. Growing up around horses, Brendan learned the value of hard work, patience, and responsibility, lessons which still guide him today. His rural upbringing instilled in him a deep appreciation for community, integrity, and getting the job done. Brendan’s passion for public service comes from a belief that government should listen, act, and deliver meaningful outcomes for the people it serves. Whether advocating for critical infrastructure such as the Kings County Memorial Hospital and Georgetown School, ensuring the maintenance and safety of local roads, or helping residents find answers to issues that matter most to them, Brendan is committed to delivering results for District 2. He and his wife Kelsey are proud parents of their son.
