It is interesting, dear Lord, to learn something about the ones we pray for in these prayers. These prayers encourage us to learn more about the people who serve us. We are encouraged. Today, we get to pray for MLA Carla Compton. Her experience as a registered nurse helps give direction to the Health care system through her front line experience. May Your Holy Spirit be upon her through the grace given by the love of Your Son Jesus Christ. May Your grace be upon the people of Tuxedo to whom she represents. Amen.
Carla Compton has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years. She currently works as a hemodialysis nurse at St. Boniface Hospital while also running a small consulting business. Since childhood, Carla has stepped up to serve on student government in high school, university and a national nursing student organization. In the community, she worked as a lifeguard and as a cross-cultural camp director. Carla was born in Winnipeg and raised across the Prairies.
