Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Carolyn Simpson to You today as she serves the people of Prince Edward Island. Please give her wisdom, clarity, and guidance as she makes decisions that affect her community. Fill her heart with compassion, integrity, and a deep desire to serve others well. Lord, grant her strength when the work feels heavy and peace when challenges arise. Surround her with wise counsel and encourage her spirit so she may lead with fairness and kindness. Bless her family and protect her health as she carries out her responsibilities. May her work bring good to the people she serves and honor to You. Carolyn Simpson was elected as the MLA for District 9, Charlottetown–Hillsborough Park, on August 12, 2025.
She built her career in education and public service, working in early childhood education at Holland College before holding senior roles with the provincial government, including Director of Early Childhood Development and Early Years Advisor. Active in her community, she has served on boards such as the Early Childhood Development Association of PEI, the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of PEI, and the UPEI Board of Governors. She is also a member of 100 Women Who Care. Carolyn holds a Master of Education in Leadership in Learning from UPEI, along with diplomas in Human Services and Early Childhood Care and Education from Holland College. Her contributions have been recognized with the Holland College Distinguished Alumni Award (2021) and the ECDA Award of Excellence (2018). She lives in East Royalty and is the proud mother of two adult children, mother-in-law, and “Mammie” to six grandchildren.
