MLA Coralee Oakes, Cariboo North (Demo)

Lord, today we pray for the MLA for Cariboo North, Coralee Oakes. You have called her to serve not only the people from her riding, but also to utilize her extensive community involvement and business experience to benefit others in her role as critic for small business. Grant Coralee insight, wisdom and discernment as she considers the best way to use her background and experience to provide pertinent advice and counsel regarding business practices and policies in BC. Guide her thoughts and decisions as she participates in provincial issues and topics, but also as she supports her local constituents. Bless her with the strength and energy required in this significant role in public service. Amen…………….

Coralee Oakes was elected MLA for Cariboo North in 2013 and 2017. She currently serves as Opposition Critic for Small Business. She sits on the Special Committee to Appoint an Information and Privacy Commissioner. Previously, she served as Minister of Small Business, Red-Tape Reduction and Minister Responsible for the Liquor Distribution Branch, and Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development. Prior to her election to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Coralee was a two-term Quesnel City Councillor, and served as the Executive Director of the Quesnel and District Chamber of Commerce.
