Father God, we thank you for the life and leadership of David Buckingham. May you help and prosper him in all his economic proposals for the prosperity of Saskatchewan. David Buckingham was elected in 2016 and again in 2020. He currently serves as Government Caucus Chair as well as Legislative Secretary to the Minister responsible for SaskTel and SGI. David has his Fellowship with the Bowhay Institute of Legislative Leadership. Born and raised in a farming community near Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, David moved to Saskatoon in 1979 to work as a commercial driver. In 1988, David and his wife Karen moved to the community of Borden to raise their three children. During David’s career as a driver, he served as the Mayor of Borden for two terms and as a Councillor for one term.
