Lord God, we praise you today and we also thank you for your provision for MLA David Eggen. We are appreciative of the work and service he has provided in many ways for Albertans. Bless him today as he goes about his responsibilities and guard his family from harm. Help him to see your work in his life. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
David has been a representative for Edmonton-Calder now Edmonton – North West since 2012, and previously represented the constituency from 2004 to 2008. Named Minister of Education in 2015, David focused on supporting Alberta students on their path to success. David holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta, and taught for 3 years in Zimbabwe and for 14 years at various local schools. He is active in the community, having been a trustee with the Forum for Young Albertans and a chair leader of the Canadian Paraplegic Association. David and his family have lived in northwest Edmonton for over 20 years.
