MLA Deron Bilous, Edmonton-Beverly-Clareview

Father in heaven, this day we bring before you Deron Bilous in prayer and we thank you for his experience in government as former Minister of Economic Trade and Development. Lord, help him to use that experience as he represents the needs of his constituents in Edmonton-Beverly-Clareview. Jesus help him also work alongside the other members in the legislature in a spirit of unity and cooperation for the good of all Albertans as we recover from the economic downturn from the last fifteen months. Guide him in all things that he may work effectively as he serves on the Standing Committee for Alberta’s Economic Future. Bless him and keep him in your care.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Deron Bilous was first elected in 2012 and again in 2015. He was elected to his third term on April 16, 2019. He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future. Born and raised in Edmonton, in a proud Ukrainian home, Mr. Bilous graduated from the University of Alberta with an education degree in 2001. He taught and mentored students at Edmonton’s Inner City High School and began working in neighbourhood and community development. Between 1995 and 2005 Mr. Bilous worked in Quebec, Tunisia and China on a number of projects with Canada World Youth, a volunteer youth program that focuses on international development.
