We thank you, dear Lord, for Diljeet Brar, MLA for Burrows. We thank you for granting him a keen intelligence and a passion to serve the people of Manitoba in the area of sustainable agriculture. We ask that you would give him incredible wisdom and discernment in knowing how to balance the needs and the financial requirements involved. We ask that you bless his family. MLA Diljeet Brar won his seat in 2019 representing the riding of Burrows for the NDP. Brar grew up in India, graduated with a master’s degree in education and taught at the Agricultural University in Punjab, India. Brar worked as a broadcast journalist before immigrating to Canada and worked in agriculture for the province in the communities of Arborg and Beausejour, Man. He currently works as executive director of Bulla Arts International, which is focused on cultural development for kids. He and others helped raise funds for the creation of a master’s of human rights program at the U of M. He and his family have lived in Amber Trails since 2014.
