MLA Diljeet Brar, Burrows

 

Lord, be with MLA Diljeet Brar and the riding of Burrows today. I pray for wisdom and knowledge that surpasses his own. I pray for courage to do the right thing in the midst of adversity, that you would bless him and the work he does. I pray, Lord, that you would be shown in and through all he does. I thank you that you guide him even though he plans his steps. I thank you for your Love and pray that you would be honoured and glorified. Amen.

MLA Dijeet Brar won his seat in 2019 representing the riding of Burrows for the NDP. Brar grew up in India, graduated with a master’s degree in education and taught at the Agricultural University in Punjab, India. Brar worked as a broadcast journalist before immigrating to Canada and worked in agriculture for the province in the communities of Arborg and Beausejour, Man. He currently works as executive director of Bulla Arts International, which is focused on cultural development for kids. He and others helped raise funds for the creation of a master’s of human rights program at the U of M. He and his family have lived in Amber Trails since 2014.
