MLA Don McMorris, Indian Head-Milestone

Father, I found Don to be a good man, one who desires to find the good and care for others. Father, he has stumbled as each of us has, yet many of us don’t suffer the public humility of our stumbles.  It is our choices that determine our destiny and the decisions we make in, not only the crucial moments, but in the quiet moments we spend alone. Father, I would ask of You, that You would reach out to Don yet again. Father, cause his heat to be one of receptiveness to the things of You. May he yearn for more, may he desire to find, and may he seek for You with all his heart.  Father You are so merciful. A constant in reconciliation. Find Don and may he find and surrender himself to You, Amen………

Don McMorris was raised in southern Saskatchewan’s Indian-Head Milestone constituency and maintains strong connections to the communities and people of the area. He graduated from Milestone High School, later worked with the Prairie View School Division, and managed the family farm in the Lewvan area. After many years with the Saskatchewan Safety Council, he was elected to the legislature as the MLA of Indian Head-Milestone in 1999. He was re-elected in the 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2016 provincial elections. He has served as Minister of Health, Minister of Highways and Infrastructure, Minister of Crown Investments, Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Government Insurance, Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority, Public Service Commission, and the Lean Initiative. He has also served as Deputy Premier. Don remains very active in the community along with his wife Cindy and their two sons.
