MLA: Gary Holman – Saanich North and the Islands (Demo)

Lord of All, we bring before you today, Saanich North & the Islands MLA: Gary Holman. We ask for your mercy, wisdom, and discernment in his service, especially in his role as Opposition Spokesperson for Democratic Reform, Deputy Environment, Fisheries and BC Ferries. Guide him in all areas of his work, and utilize his skills and experience to bring about your purposes in the province. Provide him with new innovations and initiatives that will benefit his constituency and the areas for which he is responsible. We ask for your protection upon Mr. Holman in the days ahead. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen!

Gary Holman was elected as the MLA for Saanich North and the Islands in May 2013.

Gary serves as Opposition Spokesperson for Democratic Reform, Deputy Environment, Fisheries and B.C. Ferries.

Gary was a consulting economist for over 25 years working on projects such as the Nisga’a Treaty and a Protected Areas Strategy for BC.

Gary served as Salt Spring Island’s Capital Regional District Director for six years, helping to establish the island’s first public transit system. He has been involved in the land trust movement in B.C for many years and has worked to establish coalitions between environmental groups to conserve Salt Spring’s drinking water and to protect thousands of acres of green space.

Gary lives on Salt Spring Island, has two daughters, Erin and Amber, and a stepson Owen.
