MLA Glen Hart, Last Mountain-Touchwood

Today we pray for MLA Glen Hart. Lord, what does it profit a man if he gains all the goodness and praise of man yet falls short of Your praise, “Well done My faithful servant.” Father, our men and women in government need your life, your inspiration in their bones to guide them and those they lead in this time. Father, I ask of You, to provide blessings and grace to each one of the men and women in our government. Call on Glen, that he might be counted with you. Amen…..

Glen was first elected to represent the Last Mountain-Touchwood constituency for the Saskatchewan Party in 1999. He was re-elected in 2003, 2007, 2011, and 2016. During his two terms in opposition, Glen’s critic duties included Post-Secondary Education, Highways and Transportation, Environment, Labour, Deputy Critic for Aboriginal Affairs, and Deputy Critic for Culture, Youth and Recreation. Following the 2007 election, Glen served as chair of the legislature’s Standing Committee on Human Services and deputy chair of the legislature’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts, as well as member of the caucus Standing Policy Committee on Human Services. He is currently Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly and serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and the Private Bills Committee.
