especially in a political and social climate that is veering far away from the
Christian majority we have been used to experiencing. Help him to be wise with
his words; that he would have the words he needs at any given moment. Help him
to stand for what is right, even if he is the only one standing. And I pray you
would use him as an influence in his riding in such a way that others are
reminded of Jesus by his speech and actions.

Glenn van Dijken was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock, on May 5, 2015. He currently serves as deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future.
