God,
Grant has such an important role speaking into issues of Alberta’s economic
future, especially in our present economy. Please give him, and the other
members of this committee, incredible wisdom and insight, so that they can make
excellent decisions. As they carry this heavy burden, give them each extra
compassion and empathy. Guide them, encourage them, and help them to work
together as a team. For Grant specifically, help him to know what is
right and be willing to say it, even if others may disagree. Please bless him
and remind him that you love him at all times and in every circumstance. Amen.
Grant Hunter was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Cardston-Taber-Warner on May 5, 2015. He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future and the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
He currently serves as deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship. Previously Mr. Hunter served as a member of the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future and the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
Prior to his election Mr. Hunter operated Hunter Construction, a residential and commercial construction company. He has also worked in the import and export business, in the media industry and as a former teacher in Alberta.
Mr. Hunter has served as a board member for several political and community organizations, including the Cardston Lions Club. He resides in Cardston with his wife, Angie, and their five children.
