MLA Greg Ottenbreit, Yorkton

Precious Lord we give You thanks for Greg Ottenbreit and the many acts of service he has done for his community, the province and beyond. Continue to grant him wisdom, discernment and revelation in all areas of his service. Strengthen and empower him to remain just, merciful and humble. We pray Your blessings from Eph 3:16-21 that Mr Ottenbreit and his family may be filled with all Your fullness. For Your glory Lord. Amen.

Greg was first elected as the MLA for Yorkton in 2007 and was re-elected in 2011, 2016 and 2020. Greg was appointed Government Whip on November 9th, 2020 after serving in a number of leadership and two cabinet positions. Prior to being elected, Greg owned and operated Ottenbreit Waste Systems, a private environmental and waste disposal business. He is an avid motorsports enthusiast and commercial pilot. Greg has been married to his high school sweetheart, Leone, since 1986. They have two daughters and a son, Brayden in Heaven who went “Home” in 2000 at 5 yrs of age. They also enjoy five grandchildren. They received the Community Merit Award in 2016 and the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal in 2005 for their efforts in raising funds for cancer research. Greg was recognized again in 2012 with the Hal Rogers Fellow Award, the highest honour presented by the Kinsmen of Canada. Leone and Greg have also been awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee award.
