MLA: Hon. Mary Polak – Langley (Demo)

God Thank You for Hon. Mary Polak Minister of the Enviornment.  God give her wisdom and discernment as she meets with constituents or colleagues.  May she experience peace and joy this upcoming holiday season as she spends time with friends and family. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness. Amen.

Mary Polak was re-elected to the B.C. Legislature in 2013, having represented the constituents of Langley since 2005. She was appointed Minister of Environment on June 10, 2013.

She is currently vice-chair the Environment and Land Use Committee, and is a member of the Cabinet Working Group on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), and the Priorities and Planning Committee.

Previously, she served as the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation, Minister of Children and Family Development and Responsible for Child Care, Minister of Healthy Living and Sport, and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health for the Conversation on Health.

Before being elected to the Legislative Assembly, Mary served as a trustee and former chair of the Surrey school board.
