MLA Irfan Sabir, Calgary-McCall

Good morning, may we join together in prayer for Irfan Sabir – MLA Calgary-McCall. Dear Heavenly Father, we lift Mr. Sabir up to you and pray your wisdom and knowledge over him as he serves various committees, his constituents and the province of Alberta. We pray your blessings upon him for his giving and servant heart and pray your protection over him. May you bring joy to his steps. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Irfan Sabir was re-elected for his second term in 2019. Prior to serving, Mr. Sabir practiced in aboriginal law at a national law firm in Calgary beginning in 2012. Previous to this, he worked as a research assistant with the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary (U of C). He also worked with the Salvation Army for five years. Mr. Sabir has volunteered with Calgary Legal Guidance and Canadian Red Cross. He holds a juris doctor degree from the U of C, has a degree in social work from the U of C and a degree in economics from the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Pakistan. Born in Pakistan, he has called Calgary home since 2004.
