MLA Irfan Sabir, Calgary-McCall

Father in Heaven, today we lift up MLA Irfan Sabir before you in prayer. We thank you for his heart to stand up for those that are not clearly heard. We thank you for his attention to detail and ask that you would use this gift to release more of your plans and purposes through him. We declare your protection, blessing and favour upon MLA Sabir this day. Amen.

Irfan Sabir was re-elected for his second term in 2019. Prior to serving, Mr. Sabir practiced in aboriginal law at a national law firm in Calgary beginning in 2012. Previous to this, he worked as a research assistant with the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary (U of C). He also worked with the Salvation Army for five years. Mr. Sabir has volunteered with Calgary Legal Guidance and Canadian Red Cross. He holds a juris doctor degree from the U of C, has a degree in social work from the U of C and a degree in economics from the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Pakistan. Born in Pakistan, he has called Calgary home since 2004.
