MLA Irfan Sabir, Calgary-McCall

Father God, thank you for hearing our prayers and investing in the lives of our provincial leaders.  Today, we pray for MLA Irfan Sabir and his family, asking for your care to be bestowed on each member in a very personal and compassionate way.  May they recognize your hand of mercy in their lives.  Keep them as they make plans for family time, and bless their times together.  May your goodness flood their home.  Amen.

Irfan Sabir was re-elected for his second term in 2019. Prior to serving, Mr. Sabir practiced in aboriginal law at a national law firm in Calgary beginning in 2012. Previous to this, he worked as a research assistant with the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary (U of C). He also worked with the Salvation Army for five years. Mr. Sabir has volunteered with Calgary Legal Guidance and Canadian Red Cross. He holds a juris doctor degree from the U of C, has a degree in social work from the U of C and a degree in economics from the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Pakistan. Born in Pakistan, he has called Calgary home since 2004.
