Heavenly Father, we pray for Your blessing upon Ms. Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk (UCP), MLA for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville. We ask that You encourage her in her fight to end unfair regulation and the taxes that impede new jobs. Help her as she works to solidify our children’s textbooks and schools, for as Your Word says in Psalm 127:3, “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.” (NIV) In Jesus’ name, Amen……..
Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk is currently a member of the Special Standing Committee on Members’ Services and the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship. Prior to serving, she owned and operated a small business in Vegreville for close to 35 years. She has been an avid volunteer and active member of the Vegreville business community. She has served as secretary of the Vegreville Rotary Club and as the liaison to the economic development director with the Vegreville & District Chamber of Commerce. From 2016 to 2019 she was also a member of the Vegreville Economic Development Board and previously she volunteered with the Vegreville Football Association. Jackie completed post secondary studies at the University of Calgary and at MacEwan University in Edmonton. She holds a journeyman certificate for beautician/ hairstylist and a diploma in insurance adjustment. She and her husband have two children.
