Heavenly Father, today we pray for Jackie Lovely, MLA for Camrose. Thank You for the diverse experience she brings from business, education, community organizations, and service to seniors. Jackie lives in Camrose and is the mother of two adult children. Her connection to rural Alberta can also be seen in her work to have rodeo recognized as Alberta’s official sport, highlighting several long-standing rodeos within her own constituency. As Jackie serves her riding and chairs committees dealing with families, communities, and economic diversification, give her wisdom, discernment, and patience. Help her understand the challenges facing both rural and urban residents and recognize opportunities to strengthen families, communities, and Alberta’s economy. Give Jackie strength, good health, and wise people around her. Bless her family and provide times of rest and renewal. May she serve with compassion, integrity, humility, and sound judgment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Jackie Lovely was re-elected as the MLA for Camrose in 2023. She currently chairs the Standing Committee on Families and Communities and serves on the Standing Committees on Private Bills and Public Accounts. She previously served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Associate Minister for the Status of Women. Before entering provincial politics, Jackie worked as an English as a second language instructor and served with the Camrose and Leduc chambers of commerce. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan, a diploma in hotel and restaurant administration from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and an MBA from Cape Breton University.
