MLA Jackie Tegart, Fraser-Nicola

Father I bring Jackie Tegart, MLA for Fraser-Nicola, to you.  Thank you for her compassionate and caring heart.  Thank you for the strength and wisdom you have given her this past year of turmoil and unexpected tragedies.  Father I pray you will continue to be her strength as she reaches out to those around her who are in need of support.  Thank you for her willingness to be a part of the solutions to the many challenges that are being faced in this province.  I pray that she will know there are many who care and are praying for her.  Keep her in your care, I ask in your name.  Amen.


Jackie Tegart was elected as the MLA for Fraser-Nicola in 2013, 2017, and again in 2020. She currently serves as the Official Opposition critic for Education. Jackie has served as Government Caucus Chair and the Liaison for the Community Poverty Reduction Initiative. She has also been a member of a number of committees, including most recently the Cabinet Committee on a Secure Tomorrow, and the Environment and Land Use Committee. Jackie has four children and nine grandchildren with her late husband, Gordon, who lost his battle with cancer in 2009. Jackie and Gordon met in Ashcroft, where she raised her family and continues to live today.
