Lord, once again we pray for MLA Jane Thornthwaite and her service to the people of this province. We pray that Your hand would continue to guide her life and bless her work. Make she be aware of those who genuinely need her help and enable her to contribute to their well-being. Jane Thornthwaite was re-elected MLA for North Vancouver-Seymour in 2017. Jane uses her prior experiences in government to lead as the Official Opposition’s critic role on Mental Health and Addictions and has been appointed to the Select Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Jane served as a School Trustee for the North Vancouver Board of Education and topped the polls in both the 2005 and 2008 municipal elections. Previously, Jane was a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (B.Sc., B.H.E.) with a 22-year career in health care. Her writing has been published in a wide variety of publications and she has been a guest presenter and lecturer at numerous colleges and universities. Jane has had an extensive volunteer career on the North Shore and has lived there all of her life.
