Jas Johal was elected MLA for Richmond-Queensborough in 2017. He is a Member on the Select Standing Committee on Crown Corporations. He is an award winning journalist. Spending over 23 years extensively traveling B.C. covering news and current affairs, focusing on a wide range of issues ranging from politics, business, transportation, health, and organized crime. Jas was most recently the Director of Communications at the BC LNG Alliance. Formed in 2014, the Alliance is the voice of British Columbia’s liquefied natural gas export industry. He and his wife Seera have one son, Ishaan.
