Heavenly Father, please hear our prayer for Ms. Jennifer Johnson. Thank You so much for Jennifer. Thank You for giving her the necessary traits and resilience to be an advocate for the community of Lacombe-Ponoka. We pray that You would bless Jennifer in the coming year with wisdom and discernment in determining the best steps to take to make her community better. Jennifer Johnson was elected May 29, 2023, as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta representing the constituency of Lacombe-Ponoka. Mrs. Johnson is the owner and operator of a successful prairie fruit orchard, which has been in business since 2009, and was previously a registered nurse. Mrs. Johnson is extremely active in her community, and she has been a director for the Bentley Agricultural Society since 2008. She also served as the director and president of Canadian Cherry Producers Inc., chair of the Bentley and Area Multi-use Facility Building Society, and club leader for the Bentley 4-H Multiclub. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, and is married with four children. Mrs. Johnson graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor of science in nursing. She enjoys spending time in her fruit orchard, listening to music and participating in agricultural advocacy.
