Lord we pray today for MLA Jim Lemaigre. We thank you for his desire to serve the people of Athabasca and the province in this new capacity. Having had a background in law enforcement Mr. Lemaigre will have witnessed issues and needs people face. As he begins this new role we ask that you grant him wisdom and understanding to help bring about fruitful outcomes. We pray for knowledgeable staff to assist him and may he find support and encouragement from his colleagues. Father, we ask that you would guide Mr. Lemaigre and his family through this time of transition and that they would be able to keep their private times together a priority. Lord bless and protect them. We ask this all in Jesus’ name. Amen.
