MLA Jinny Sims, Surrey-Panorama

Thank you Lord for Jinny Sims faithfulness to serve her constituents as a MLA. We ask that you would keep her in excellent health. Enable her to walk in peace with her family as well as with the employees and volunteers in her office. We ask for your abundant wisdom while she serves the people who elected her. Please lead her and bring creative solutions to her as she works in unity with her team. I thank you for the productivity that comes out of her office. Continue to protect her and her family. Jinny Sims was elected as the MLA for Surrey-Panorama in 2017. She previously held the position as the Minister of Citizens’ Services. Born in Punjab, India, Jinny immigrated to England at nine years old. She earned her education degree at the University of Manchester and became a high school teacher when she moved to Canada before becoming the president of the BC Teachers’ Federation in 2004. In 2011, Jinny was elected as the Member of Parliament for Newton-North Delta, and served as the critic for International Cooperation, Critic for Immigration and Critic for Employment. Jinny is a mother and grandmother, and is proud to call Surrey home.
