Heavenly Father, please hear my prayer for MLA Joe Ceci. Thank you so much for Mr Ceci and his long standing service to our community. I pray that you would strengthen Joe and help him to use his experience and talents to create positive change in the region of Calgary-Buffalo and on the committees in which he serves. Grant him peace and discernment during these challenging times. Keep him and his family safe this year and bring them closer to you. In Jesus name, amen.
Joe Ceci was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Calgary-Fort, on May 5, 2015. He was appointed to serve as President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance on May 24, 2015 and is currently deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship. Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Ceci worked as a public policy manager with a community-based charitable organization in Calgary. Previous to this, he served as a city of Calgary alderman for 15 years. From 1988 to 1995 he worked as a community social worker with the city of Calgary, and from 1981 to 1987 he provided family counselling services for a number of organizations. He and his wife, Christine, call Calgary home.
