MLA John Rustad, Nachako Lakes (Demo)

Father God, we raise up Nachako Lakes MLA: John Rustad before you and invite your blessing, wisdom, and discernment in his service in legislature and his riding. Utilize his experience to accomplish your goals and intentions for our province. We pray for your protection upon Mr. Rustad and his wife as they go about their daily routines this fall. John Rustad was re-elected MLA of Nechako Lakes in 2017.  First elected in 2005, John previously served as Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation and Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations and as Parliamentary Secretary for Forestry as well as on a variety of committees.

Prior to his election as MLA, John worked in the forest industry for more than 20 years. In 1995, he formed Western Geographic Information Systems Inc., a consulting service to the forest industry. John was also elected as a school trustee in 2002, where he worked on a variety of innovative projects.

Born and raised in Prince George, John has lived in northern B.C. all his life.  In 2009, he and his wife Kim moved to Cluculz Lake.
