MLA John Rustad, Nechako Lakes

Lord, we ask you to bless MLA John Rustad and his family. We ask you to guide him and his peers as they serve the people of British Columbia. We ask you for strength and health as he works towards keeping British Columbia the beautiful province that it is. Also, we ask for wisdom as he makes daily decisions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

John Rustad was re-elected MLA of Nechako Lakes in 2020. Since 2017, John has served as the Official Opposition critic for Forest, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations. In the 41st Parliament, he  was appointed to the Select Standing Committee on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders, and Private Bills.. Prior to his election as MLA, John worked in the forest industry for more than 20 years. In 1995, he formed Western Geographic Information Systems Inc., a consulting service. John was also elected as a school trustee in 2002. Born and raised in Prince George, John has lived in northern B.C. all his life; he and his wife Kim now live in Cluculz Lake.
