MLA Jon Carson, Edmonton-West Henday

Father, we bring to you Jon Carson today to receive from you the plans and the strategies that are required to fulfil the duties on the committee he is appointed in at this time. Thank you, Lord, that you have placed him as a member of the Standing Committee on Families and Communities. Father, may he have an encounter with you that will lead to a deep relationship with you. Father we ask that you bless Jon Carson, the riding he is the MLA to; Edmonton-West Henday. Bless all of Alberta, all Albertans in Jesus name Amen.

Jon Carson was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Meadowlark, on May 5, 2015. He was re-elected to represent the constituency of Edmonton-West Henday on April 16, 2019. He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Families and Communities and the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing. He previously served on the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future, the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and the Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing. He attended postsecondary studies at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, first attaining a diploma in radio and television broadcasting, then later returning for an electrical apprenticeship. Prior to his election Mr. Carson was employed as an electrician.
