Lord God, I bring to you MLA Josh Guenter. I ask that you would give him wisdom and knowledge beyond his years and that you would be with him in his electoral district of Borderland. I pray that he would not be dismissed or looked down upon because he is young. That he would set an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. I pray that he would not dismiss the counsel of those who are older than him but that he would have a teachable heart and discern what is good. I pray, Lord, that You would show him what is good and pleasing to You. Amen …….
Josh Guenter was elected as MLA of Borderland in 2019. He was born in Altona and lives in the area with his wife Alicia and their young son Jackson. He has been engaged in politics for a number of years and has played an active role in provincial as well as federal election campaigns. He studied at the University of Ottawa and the University of Manitoba, has worked on Parliament Hill, and has served the people of the region as a constituency assistant to local elected officials.
