Precious Jesus, we bring Karen Kirkpatrick, MLA West Vancouver-Capilano to you. Karin Kirkpatrick was elected MLA for West Vancouver-Capilano in 2020. She serves as the Official Opposition critic for Children, Family Development, and Childcare. Prior to her election she was CEO of Family Services of Greater Vancouver. She has served as CEO and Registrar of the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of BC, as CEO of the Real Estate Foundation of BC, and as Assistant Dean of UBC’s Sauder School of Business. Karin has been a board member of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, Family Services of Canada, the Vancity Community Foundation, the BC Degree Quality Assessment Board, and the BC Council for International Education. She also served on the Judicial Council of British Columbia for six years. She has been recognized for her leadership as a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants and as a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal. Karin holds a Master of Laws degree and an MBA, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant/Certified Management Accountant. She lives in West Vancouver-Capilano with her husband Murray, daughter Kaelan, and dog Luna.
