Dear Lord, Your Word declares, “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8). We pray for Karla Bernard. Lord, fill her with Your wisdom as she works for Island communities from the opposition benches. Bless her efforts to build bridges across political lines, and grant her peace amid the demands of public service. May her character draw people together rather than apart. Bless her family, and may they be a constant source of blessing to her. May she especially know the greatest of all family ties—with You—through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
