MLA Kathleen Cook, Roblin

MLA Kathleen Cook

Dear Lord, MLA Kathleen Cook is one who fights for those she loves and advocates for those who cannot for themselves. We give thanks for her dedication and relentless desire to improve the health of women and families through various programs and suggestions. As well as representing the needs of the Roblin area of Winnipeg, she is a busy mom. So, we pray for strength and energy as she gives to both of these roles. May she feel supported and encouraged by those around her. We pray for continued wisdom as she leads and serves her community as well as protection around her husband and children. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

After graduating from the University of Winnipeg with a degree in political science and completing the Manitoba Legislative Assembly Internship Program in 2006, Kathleen Cook jumped into politics and has served as a senior policy analyst, project manager, and special advisor at both the provincial and municipal levels. Most recently, Kathleen represented and advocated for nearly 10,000 small and medium-sized businesses across four provinces and territories through her role as Provincial Director of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. A wife, mother, and community volunteer, Kathleen is passionate about the people, local businesses, and community organizations that make their home in the Roblin constituency. Charleswood is where Kathleen, her husband Jared, and their four children chose to put down roots nearly a decade ago. It’s a community she’s been actively engaged in serving as a board member and volunteer coordinator at Roblin Park Community Centre and as a Guider with Girl Guides of Canada.
