MLA – Kevin Phillips – Melfort

Dear Lord. We pray today
for Kevin Phillips. Thank you for the work that he has been doing in the
legislature. We ask that you help him to divide between the truth and fiction
that is constantly swirling in public life. Help him to find bedrock to stand
on, and the courage to make it obvious. Bless him in the walk with you. Amen.

Kevin Phillips was first elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in the 2011 provincial election. He was re-elected in 2016.
Kevin has lived in the Melfort constituency for nearly 40 years. He has worked in business and advertising in Melfort, which includes being a partner with the Melfort Journal for over 25 years, and sitting on the board of the Canadian Community Newspaper Association. He most recently served as Mayor of Melfort.
Kevin has been very involved in the Melfort community. He is a past president of the Kinsmen Club of Melfort and previously served as a board member and chairman of the Melfort School Division.
“I’m excited to continue making positive changes for municipalities and the constituency of Melfort.”
Currently, Kevin serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.
Kevin and his wife April have four children and five grandchildren.
