Linda Larson was elected MLA for Boundary-Similkameen in 2013 and re-elected in 2017. She is the Official Opposition Co-Critic for Agriculture. Prior to being elected as an MLA, Linda sat on the Oliver Council and served as mayor from 1997 to 2005. Growing up in Comox, Linda moved to Oliver in 1989 with her husband Larry. She owned three businesses in Oliver between 1989 and 2002 – Eastside Grocery, Stedmans V/S and Ruffled Edges – and served on the BC Small Business Roundtable between 2005 and 2011. Linda is the past chair of the Provincial Board at Community Futures representing the South Okanagan, and has sat on the boards of JABC (2006-2011) and the Desert Sun Counselling & Resource Centre (2004-2008). Linda and her husband Larry have three daughters and four grandchildren.
