Heavenly Father, today we pray for Lizette Tejada, MLA for Calgary-Klein and Shadow Minister for Immigration and Multiculturalism. Lord, Your Word says that we are to treat immigrants as natives among us and to love them as ourselves (Leviticus 19:33–34). We thank You for the multicultural community that we have in Alberta, which brings richness and diversity. We pray for divine solutions to the complex issues that come with providing integration and the resources needed for new immigrants in Alberta. We bless Lizette with wise counsel and the ability to communicate clearly with those she is collaborating with to bring solutions. Bless her with peace, good health, and strength to fulfill her many roles. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
