MLA Mark Wasyliw, Fort Garry

Lord, thank you for MLA Mark Wasyliw, for Fort Garry. Thank you for the heart of justice you have placed within him! We are thankful he is an advocate for those who have been wrongfully convicted. Thank you for his leadership skills and service as Deputy House Leader for the Opposition and Critic for Finance. Bless his marriage and his family and keep them safe as he continues to serve our province. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus.

Mark Wasyliw is a husband and father, a lawyer, and a former school trustee with the Winnipeg School Division. As a lawyer, Mark has been a passionate advocate for protecting Manitoba’s rights and serving as Commissioner for the Residential Tenancies Branch. He volunteers with an organization that advocates for those who have been wrongfully convicted. As school trustee, Mark led efforts to expand French language programs, create Manitoba’s first bilingual Spanish program and build a water safety program for elementary students. Mark lives in Fort Garry with his wife and three children and coaches football with the Corydon Community Club. He serves as the NDP Official Opposition’s Critic for Finance.
