MLA Mark Wasyliw, Fort Garry

Lord, we thank You for Mark Wasyliw, MLA for Fort Garry! We ask that You would bless who he is as a husband and father. Thank You that his volunteerism springs out of his love for his family. Bless him as he sows into other young people’s lives. Grant him wisdom as he advocates for those who are less fortunate. Grant him great grace as he serves as the official Opposition Critic for Finance. May he speak with great wisdom in this role, offering a different perspective that would seek to better the people of Manitoba. Amen!…….

Mark Wasyliw is a husband and father, a lawyer, and a former school trustee with the Winnipeg School Division. As a lawyer, Mark has been a passionate advocate for protecting Manitoba’s rights and serving as Commissioner for the Residential Tenancies Branch. He volunteers with an organization that advocates for those who have been wrongfully convicted. As school trustee, Mark led efforts to expand French language programs, create Manitoba’s first bilingual Spanish program and build a water safety program for elementary students. Mark lives in Fort Garry with his wife and three children and coaches football with the Corydon Community Club. He serves as the NDP Official Opposition’s Critic for Finance.
