Lord God, we thank You for Mark Wasyliw, MLA for Fort Garry. We thank You for his heart for the education of children from all walks of life. We thank You for his passion to see all children able to participate and learn and we ask that You would surround him with Godly counsellors who would sow wisdom and revelation into his life about how best to accomplish the dream of his heart. We ask that You would bless his wife and children and that You would lead them, guide and protect them as he continues to serve the people of his constituency. We ask this in Jesus’ mighty name. Mark Wasyliw is a husband and father, a lawyer, and a former school trustee with the Winnipeg School Division. As a lawyer, Mark has been a passionate advocate for protecting Manitoba’s rights and serving as Commissioner for the Residential Tenancies Branch. He volunteers with an organization that advocates for those who have been wrongfully convicted. As school trustee, Mark led efforts to expand French language programs, create Manitoba’s first bilingual Spanish program and build a water safety program for elementary students. Mark lives in Fort Garry with his wife and three children and coaches football with the Corydon Community Club. He serves as the NDP Official Opposition’s Critic for Finance.
