Lord we lift up Mark Wasyliw to you. In his role as, The Official Oppositions Critic for Finance, give him wisdom and help him to see things clearly and from a godly perspective. Place your hand upon him and speak to his heart. Encourage him to choose what is right and encourage him and others to work together for the good of Manitobans during these troubling times. Give him insights for the recovery of Manitoba’s Economy and help him to see ways where his experience with the Residential Tenancies branch can bring innovative solutions to provide affordable housing to those who need it. Mark Wasyliw is a husband and father, a lawyer, and a former school trustee with the Winnipeg School Division. As a lawyer, Mark has been a passionate advocate for protecting Manitoba’s rights and serving as Commissioner for the Residential Tenancies Branch. He volunteers with an organization that advocates for those who have been wrongfully convicted. As school trustee, Mark led efforts to expand French language programs, create Manitoba’s first bilingual Spanish program and build a water safety program for elementary students. Mark lives in Fort Garry with his wife and three children and coaches football with the Corydon Community Club. He serves as the NDP Official Opposition’s Critic for Finance.
