MLA Mark Wasyliw, Fort Garry

God, you are good, for there is none like you in all the heavens or the earth, I pray that Mark  Wasyliw will encounter you. As he walks with you and hears wisdom and would continue learning from you.  Let him walk that road and see that his ways are not far from your ways, his thoughts are in alignment with your thoughts. Help him surrender to serve you better. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Mark Wasyliw is a husband and father, a lawyer, and a former school trustee with the Winnipeg School Division. As a lawyer, Mark has been a passionate advocate for protecting Manitoba’s rights and serving as Commissioner for the Residential Tenancies Branch. He volunteers with an organization that advocates for those who have been wrongfully convicted. As school trustee, Mark led efforts to expand French language programs, create Manitoba’s first bilingual Spanish program and build a water safety program for elementary students. Mark lives in Fort Garry with his wife and three children and coaches football with the Corydon Community Club. He serves as the NDP Official Opposition’s Critic for Finance.
