Lord Jesus, I bring Mr. Marlin Schmidt to you in prayer. Thank you so much for Marlin and his service to our province and his community of Edmonton-Gold Bar. Marlin Schmidt was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-Gold Bar in 2015 and was re-elected on April 16, 2019. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship and the Standing Committee on Legislative Offices. During his first term Mr. Schmidt served as Minister of Advanced Education. Prior to serving in the Legislature Mr. Schmidt was in site remediation and hydrogeology. From 2008 to 2015 he worked for Alberta Environment as a soil and groundwater contamination specialist.
