Heavenly Father, thank you for MLA Marvin Hunt. Please continue to use Marvin as he serves his people with integrity in the areas of Social Development and Poverty Reduction. Give him a voice and Your wisdom as he seeks to promote community and cultural development. Help him to walk effectively in the face of adversity and to be able to overcome the political spirit in the service of what is right and good for his constituents and the entire Province. Marvin Hunt was first elected to the Legislature in 2013 and re-elected in 2017.  Marvin has previously served as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development. Currently, Marvin serves as the official opposition critic on Social Development and Poverty Reduction.  Prior to entering provincial politics, Marvin was first elected to Surrey City Council in 1987.  Marvin and his wife Ruth are long-time Surrey residents and share six children and seventeen grandchildren.
