MLA Matt Love, Saskatoon Eastview

Father, we lift up our brother Matt Love to You. Father, You have gifted Matt with the ability to lead and work with others. We pray for Your continued blessings on Matt while he functions as a critic in the opposition caucus. Help him to be critical but also show compassion in his words and actions. Bless him and his family as they grow in their family relationships and with You. Amen.

Matt Love was elected MLA for Saskatoon Eastview in 2020. He is the opposition critic for Municipal Affairs, Tourism, Seniors, Ethics and Democracy, and Parks, Culture and Sport. He is also the opposition Deputy Caucus Chair. Matt and his wife Emma live in Eastview where they are raising their three children. Prior to his election, Matt was a teacher with Saskatoon Public Schools. In 2014, he received a CBC Saskatchewan Future 40 Award for his leadership and innovation as an educator and coach. Matt was the teacher of a unique program that explored Arts Education, Social Studies and English with a focus on social justice and current events. Matt also contributed to his school community as a GSA facilitator, senior football coach, and leader in other areas of athletics.
