Heavenly Father, Thank You for the calm, steady, and articulate manner in which You have gifted Matt Love. We thank You for his perseverance and his ability to stay with an issue until it is resolved. We are grateful for his care and concern that students receive the very best education and opportunities available to them. As the Legislative Session gets underway in the coming days, we pray that You would grant Matt wisdom, godly discernment, and wise counsel. We also ask for Your blessing and protection over his staff, volunteers, and family. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen.
Matt Love was elected MLA for Saskatoon Eastview in 2020 & 2024. He is the opposition Shadow Minister for Education. Matt and his wife Emma live in Eastview where they are raising their three children. Prior to his election, Matt was a teacher with Saskatoon Public Schools. In 2014, he received a CBC Saskatchewan Future 40 Award for his leadership and innovation as an educator and coach. Matt was the teacher of a unique program that explored Arts Education, Social Studies and English with a focus on social justice and current events. Matt also contributed to his school community as a GSA facilitator, senior football coach, and leader in other areas of athletics.
