MLA Michael Lee, Vancouver-Langara

Heavenly Father, we lift up MLA Michael Lee to you today. In this moment, may he know you and experience your presence in very real ways.  We pray that he may have the peace that transcends all understanding.  Let him be like a beacon on a hill that brings light and life to all those around him.  Amen! 

 

 

Michael was elected the MLA for Vancouver-Langara in 2017 and again in 2020. He is the Official Opposition critic for Transportation, Infrastructure and TransLink. Previously, he served as the Official Opposition critic for the Attorney General. Prior to his election, Michael was a business lawyer and partner with Lawson Lundell LLP.  Before obtaining his law degree at the University of Victoria, he worked as a Special Assistant to the Right Honourable Kim Campbell in Vancouver and Ottawa. He also holds a BSc in Biology, a BA (Hons) in Political Science and an MA degree in Political Science with a focus on environmental regulations. Michael has served as the past Chair of the Board of Directors of Arts Umbrella and Alumni UBC. He has also served as a past Vice-Chair and Board member of Science World British Columbia, SUCCESS and Leadership Vancouver. A son of Hong Kong immigrants, Michael was born and raised in Vancouver. He and his wife Christina have three young adult children.
