Jesus, we ask that you come and minister in the heart of Mr. Mickey Amery. We thank you, Father, for putting him in the position to serve the people of Alberta on the following committees, Member of the Standing Committee on Private Bills and Private Members Public Bills and the Standing Committee on Families and Communities. Give him the wisdom, strategies and blueprints from Heaven that he would need to serve on these committees. Bless Mr. Mickey Amery, his wife, their children, all Albertans and all of Alberta in Jesus name, Amen.
Mickey is a lifelong Calgarian and he and his wife are currently raising their three children there. He is the son of longtime politician Moe Amery, who served as a Progressive Conservative MLA for 22 years in Calgary-East. Operating a small law office in East Calgary, Mickey practices in the areas of family and real estate law. This is his first time being elected into the legislature, there were 23 winning UCP candidates in Calgary and Mickey is one of 17 rookie MLAs.
