MLA Mike Bernier, Peace River South (Demo)

Father, today we raise up Mike Bernier in prayer. We are being obedient to Romans 1:9 “… I make mention of you always in my prayers.”  We thank Mike for his 13 years he has served us in both Local and Provincial Government as a City Councilor, Mayor and now MLA for Peace River South.   Continue to give Mike wisdom as the official opposition critic for Oil and Gas development as well as he sits on the select standing committee on legislative initiatives, may his 20 years of experience in the Natural Gas Industry assist him in his work in Government. We hold Mike’s family up in our prayer’s today and make mention of them. In Jesus name we pray. Amen…………..

Mike Bernier was re-elected MLA for Peace River South in 2017. Mike is currently the Official Opposition Critic for Oil and Gas Development and sits on the Select Standing Committee on Legislative Initiatives.

In the past, he has served as Minister of Education, and as Parliamentary Secretary for Energy Literacy and the Environment for the Minister of Environment. He has also served on the Cabinet Committee on Strong Economy. Before being elected to the Legislature in 2013, Mike served as mayor of Dawson Creek, elected in 2008 and re-elected in 2011. He also served as a Dawson Creek city councillor from 2005 to 2008. Mike has lived in Dawson Creek since 1993 and has 20 years of experience in the natural gas industry.
